Displayed at its venue were photos of the feats of President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il and books and photos of the DPRK.

Present there were personages of the Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Day of the Shining Star, People's Party, Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, Federation of Peace and Friendship Organizations, Center for the Study of Juche and the Association for the Study of Juche Idea-Songun and popular masses of this country.

The participants laid a floral basket before the portraits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

L. Khaisandai, chairman of the Mongolian Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Day of the Shining Star, said in his opening address at the seminar that Kim Jong Il was the great leader who guided the Korean people to victory by inheriting the cause of the President and that he devoted his all to the country and the people.

A report and speeches were made.

N. Sarantuya, member of the Leadership Council of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, noted that the DPRK is invariably building socialism as Kim Jong Il shaped the independent politics, the Songun politics.

Ch. Surenjav, who was honored with the audience of Kim Jong Il, said: Kim Jong Il was a great man who creditably carried forward and developed the revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung. He performed undying feats for the development of the friendly relations between the two countries.

Messages to the dear respected Kim Jong Un were adopted at the seminar.
