Iran to Defend Regional Peace and Stability

| Tehran, February 21 (KCNA) -- Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said Monday that aggressive countries will be responsible for probable instability of the Hormuz Strait, south of Iran. "Iranian forces patrol the Hormuz Strait," said the commander on the sidelines of a military drill launched by IRGC ground forces code-named "Valfajr" in central Iran. The enemy is not able to violate the Iranian soil, Jafari said, reiterating that the Valfajr military exercise demonstrates Iran's readiness to ensure regional peace and stability. |
