The library has two floors. On the first floor there are computer study room, multimedia reading room, hall for reading e-books, remote lecture room, catalogue browsing hall, information service room, etc. On the second floor there are stacks of books on social and natural sciences and other fields, general lecture room, reading hall and study room.

The modernly built exhibition consists of the central hall and exhibition hall with two floors.

It will be helpful to ensuring show of Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia on an excellent basis and displaying achievements made in various fields of the national economy including light industry, agriculture and science and technology.
