Displayed in its venue were his works and books on the DPRK in which the Juche idea has been successfully applied.

Present there were Milton Burbano Borquez, chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea who is chairman of the Ecuadorian National Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung, Fernando Maldonado, member of the National Executive Committee of the Socialist Party-Ample Front of Ecuador, Julio Ballesteros Espin, chairman of the Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People, and other political and public figures and Juche idea followers.

Introduced at the seminar was the short biography of Kim Jong Il.

The speakers said that he turned the DPRK into an indestructible socialist power which is high in dignity thanks to independence and demonstrates its might with Songun by successfully applying the Juche idea to revolutionary practice.

The greatest feat performed by him was that he developed in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea and pursued the original Songun politics, defending peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world, they stressed.

They noted that the Korean people will always emerge victorious in the Songun revolution under the outstanding leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, the great successor to Kim Jong Il.

They expressed support and solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle to build a thriving socialist nation and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
