The participants included Kim Sang Il and Han Jong Suk, vice-chairpersons of the National Rights Committee of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Kim Jong Su, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Munyedong, chiefs of branches of Munyedong in different parts of Japan, artistes of the Kumgangsan Opera Troupe and the advisor of Munyedong in Kanto area.

Chairman Kim Jong Su, addressing the meeting, said Kim Jong Il took good care of the writers and artistes of Chongryon and led them along the path of glory.

He called on all participants to cherish the immortal feats performed by Kim Jong Il in guiding the work of Munyedong and make drastic changes in literary and art actiities for ushering in the golden days of Chongryon this year marking the 100th anniversary of birth of President Kim Il Sung under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The meeting was followed by an art performance given by artistes of the Kumgangsan Opera Troupe and members of Munyedong.

In the performance began with narration "The Country Shining with Eternal Sun", the artistes staged poem recital "We Have 'Song of General Kim Jong Il'", vocal solo "The General Is Eternal as the Sun", song and dance "Snowflake" and small Haegum solo "My Lovely Flower".
