The Brazilian Communist Party on February 13 posted on its Internet homepage the following article titled "February 16, 70th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il":

The human cause of independence steadily advancing despite the stern trials of history would have been unthinkable without leader Kim Jong Il of the DPRK.

Kim Jong Il formulated the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as a monolithic system of the idea, theory and method of Juche. It was an event to be special mention in carrying out the human cause of independence.

It was thanks to him that the Songun politics was formulated as a basic political mode under socialism.

The Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea on February 12 posted on its Internet homepage a special write-up titled "Leader Kim Jong Il will always be with the Korean people and world progressive people" illustrated with his smiling portrait.

The homepage in an article titled "Son of Mt. Paektu" said that he was born in Mt. Paektu on February 16, 1942 where there was the base of the anti-Japanese armed struggle commanded by Kim Il Sung, introducing in detail the ancestral mountain, the sacred mountain of the revolution.

It reported about the immortal Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il in an article tilted "By the original Songun political mode".

It also edited photos of Jong Il Peak and Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan secret camp.
