Ricardo Alarcon Calls on Jurists to Work on Return of Cuban 5

Havana, February 24 (KCNA) -- Cuban Parliament President Ricardo Alarcon called on the members of the National Association of Cuban Lawyers (UNJC) to intensify efforts for the prompt return home of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unjustly held in U.S. prisons.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 7th Congress of the UNJC, held at Havana's Conference Center, Alarcon stated that the Five, as they are known internationally, would return home if all jurists cooperate with the spirit and will that many colleagues have shown through the history of this nation.
