Business Situation Gets Worse in U.S. and Japan

Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- Hewlett-Packard of the U.S. on Wednesday reported that its profit dropped nearly 44 percent in the most recent quarter, with sales also declining.

Japan's supermarket sales in January dropped 1.2 percent from the previous year, contracting for a sixth consecutive month, the Japan Chain Stores Association said Wednesday.
