Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary Commemorated by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers carried special write-ups and articles on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

The Cambodian paper Pracheachon on Feb. 15 carried an article titled "Faith of Korea" with a photo of Kim Jong Il acknowledging the cheering masses from the tribune of honor of Kim Il Sung Square. The article said that he was the peerlessly great man who performed distinguished feats for the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence.

The Finnish paper Kansan Eeni on Feb. 17 edited an article titled "Socialist construction going on under Comrade Kim Jong Un's leadership" illustrated with a photo of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un providing field guidance to the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm. The article went on:

Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, is successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Kim Jong Il while guiding all affairs of the party and the army. Through his field guidance to units of the Korean People's Army and industrial establishments he showed before the whole world his firm will to build a thriving nation and reliably defend the socialist system true to the cause of Kim Jong Il.

The Indian paper Indian and World Event on Feb. 7 allotted its two whole pages to special write-ups interwoven with his photo and articles titled "People's leader", "Kim Jong Il's birthplace in Paektusan secret camp" and "Human cause of independence and Juche idea."

A Senegalese paper and the Zambian paper Post on Feb. 13 dealt in detail with the loving care shown by Kim Jong Il for the Korean people.
