Seminars, book and photo exhibitions, film shows and remembrance meetings were held in Russia, Cuba, Nepal, India, Italy and Ethiopia between February 13 and 17.

On display in the venues were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the photos of their undying feats and the books and photos of the Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving nation and realize national reunification.

Films shown included "The Tower of the Juche Idea".

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Nepal Worker-Peasant Party said the world progressives joined the Korean people commemorating the 70th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il as his feats were great.

Marco Rizzo, general secretary of the Leftwing People's Party of Communists of Italy, said the Korean people could dynamically advance displaying the advantages of socialism centered on the popular masses as they were led by the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Il.

Nigatu Dagnachew Cherinet, chairman of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea, said Kim Jong Il was a political elder who remarkably boosted the international prestige of the DPRK and set for all the countries around the world an example of how to fight for independence.

Messages to the dear respected Kim Jong Un were adopted at seminars in Nepal and India.
