The Russian newspaper Nakhodkinski Rabochi on Jan. 27 carried a special write-up illustrated with a photo of Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un waving back to the cheering masses.

The paper recalled that Kim Jong Il resolutely foiled the moves of the imperialists to provoke a war with the might of Songun.

Byvor on Feb. 10 and No. 18 issue of Priamuruskie Vedomosti of the country carried articles praising the undying feats Kim Jong Il performed by making a great contribution to the prosperity of the country and independent and peaceful reunification of the country and the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations.

The Tanzanian paper Mwananchi on Feb. 16 said that Kim Jong Il not only firmly defended socialist Korea by standing against the imperialist allied forces, holding high the banner of Songun but also wisely led the DPRK to register great successes in all fields.

The Syrian paper Al Thawrah on Feb. 16 introduced the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il in leading the army.

Al Baath of the country on Feb. 19 carried an article on the great contribution Kim Jong Il made to global independence.
