Talking to IRNA, Senator Mir Lashkari Raisani of the Pakistan People's Party asked if U.S. and Israel along with many other countries can have nuclear warheads then why Iran is not allowed to pursue a peaceful nuclear program.

He said being signatory to Non-Proliferation Treaty, it is Iran's right to develop a peaceful nuclear program without any external pressure.

It is amazing to see that Iran today is developing in all fields despite western curbs, said the politician.
