It is illogical to discuss "nuclear security" in south Korea, a nuclear outpost of the U.S. and the world's biggest nuclear arsenal, the statement said.

The U.S. is the world's biggest possessor of nuclear weapons and it is the only country which used atomic bombs in practice, it noted.

For south Korea to host the "nuclear security summit" is evidently a provocation to the DPRK and part of the moves of the U.S. imperialists, south Korean puppet group and their imperialist allies to jointly pressurize the DPRK to disarm it, it pointed out, adding it is also a foolish move of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet group to destroy Korean-style socialism centred on the popular masses in league with the world reactionary forces.

The "nuclear security summit" to take place, timed to coincide with the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises for aggression is nothing but another threat and blackmail against the DPRK, the statement said, and went on:

We call upon the world progressive forces to disclose the sinister aims of the "nuclear security summit" and vehemently condemn it.
