The April 25 Sports Team came first in men's and women's basketball events of this year's first tournament.

In the contest the Amnokgang Sports Team finished second in those events while boys of the Sobaeksu Sports Team and girls of the Kigwancha Sports Team placed third.

Taking part in this basketball tournament were first-class men and women teams of the country.

The tournament was held by way of league matches to decide ranking and then matches between each two teams at the order of their placing.
