The venue was pervaded with the hatred and will of the people from all walks of life to wipe out the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors and its citadels which hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its social system which the army and people are cherishing as the most sacred and precious one, not content with rubbing salts in the wounds of fellow countrymen who suffered the great loss to the nation.

Attending the rally were officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials of the fields of science, education, literature and art, public health and media, working people, youths and students in Pyongyang, overseas compatriots staying in the homeland and the chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

Present there on invitation were foreign diplomatic envoys and members of the military attaches corps here and foreign guests.

The statement of a spokesman for the Korean People's Army Supreme Command was read out to be followed by speeches.

Mun Kyong Dok, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who doubles as chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, spoke on behalf of the WPK.

He said that all the people across the country are waiting for an order to destroy the enemies. They are getting themselves ready to wipe out the Lee group with an all-out merciless war for retaliation, he added.

The group of gangsters' act of slandering and defaming the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK is a racket as the thrice-cursed enemies, scum of history worse than animals, dare point the finger at the sun, he said, and went on:

The confrontation moves directly orchestrated by the Lee group are the most evil ones putting the successive chief executives into the shade.

We will turn the sea in flames on Yonphyong Island into a sea in flames of Chongwadae, the sea in flames of Chongwadae into a sea in flames to blow up the citadel of the group of traitors and thus wipe it out to the last man so that it can not hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership and the inviolable system of the DPRK.

KPA Colonel General O Kum Chol, deputy chief of the General Staff, said on behalf of KPA service members:

The KPA will find out the mastermind of the gravest crime and punish them whether they are in Inchon, Seoul, Jeju Island, U.S. or any other place of the earth and make the den of mad dogs their grave.

They will be made to be aware of the weapons of Songun and real sacred war. The world will witness what a miserable end they will meet in the face of the merciless sacred battle of all the service persons of the KPA who would turn out to defend their leader, their Supreme Commander.

Kim Hyok Nam, worker of the Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory, speaking on behalf of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards, said that south Korean people call Lee Myung Bak rat-Myung Bak as he was born in a foreign land and grew up wandering about in Seoul markets like a rat. He vowed to mercilessly kill dog-like Lee with the weapons of Songun, iron hammer and sharp sickle.

All the red guards members are waiting for an order to storm Chongwadae where rat-Myung Bak is squatting and wipe out the base of anti-DPRK plots and moves for a war, he added.

Hong Kang Min, a student of Kim Il Sung University, speaking on behalf of youths and students, called for becoming five million human rifles and human bombs for defending the dear respected Kim Jong Un, destiny of the Koreans and banner of all victories.

The huge ranks of the youths demonstrating their might as reserve combat units and special detachment of the Supreme Commander will take the lead in the indiscriminate sacred war of retaliation of our own style the core of which is physical strike and fully defeat traitor Lee and his military hooligans and give full play to the mettle of Korean youth vanguard who have grown up under the care of brilliant commanders of Mt. Paektu, he stressed.

The participants shouted "Kill Myung Bak," "Strike military warmongers," "Tear apart Lee Myung Bak to death in the name of the nation!" and "Let us destroy the Lee group of traitors!"

At the end of the speeches there was a demonstration march.

　The demonstrators marched past the square with the determination to successfully accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche which was started on Mt. Paektu and the historic cause of national reunification under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, shouting slogans such as "Let Us Become Rifles and Bombs Defending the Dear Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Risk of Our Lives!"
