British FM Calls for Closing Guantanamo Bay

| Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Thursday urged the United States to close its military detention center at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba and release a British detainee. "The UK believes that indefinite detention in Guantanamo Bay is wrong and will continue to call for Guantanamo Bay to be closed and Mr. Aamer to be returned to his family in the UK," Hague said after a meeting. |
