Rallies of Servicepersons and People Held to Vow to Bury Lee Myung Bak Group of Traitors

Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons and people in South Phyongan and South Hamgyong Provinces held rallies on Monday to vow to wage a merciless sacred war to bury the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors who hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK. The statement of a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army was read out to be followed by speeches at those rallies. The floor was taken by An Kuk Thae, chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, general officer Ri Hung Sop on behalf of KPA service members, Kim Kwang Son, teacher, on behalf of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards and Jon Kwang Min, vice department director of the Provincial Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, on behalf of youths and students at the rally held in South Phyongan Province. The speakers said the service personnel of the KPA and all the people in their province were waiting for an order to wipe out the enemies, keeping themselves on high alert to bury the Lee group of traitors through a merciless all-people retaliation. They said the Lee group is hordes of dead men who ceased to be human beings and mad dogs which are making desperate efforts before breathing their last. They vowed to take revenge upon the enemy a thousand times to beat to death all the dregs of the society that hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its inviolable social system. They called on the service personnel, all the party members and other working people, youths and students in the province to firmly protect the undisputed prestige of the great men of Mt. Paektu and devotedly safeguard the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by the dear respected Kim Jong Un. Those who took floor at the rally held in South Hamgyong Province included Kwak Pom Gi, chief secretary of the Provincial Committee of the WPK, KPA general officer Nam Sang Ho who spoke on behalf of the KPA service members, Kong Sung Il, manager of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, who spoke on behalf of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards and Han In Chol, first secretary of the provincial committee of the youth league, who spoke on behalf of the youths and students. The speakers said they would further intensify the sacred war for retaliation against the traitors' group nonstop till they force it to pay a thousand-fold dearer price for its crimes. All the party members and other working people will stage a fierce drive to push forward production and construction and improve the standard of the people's living in such fields as light industry, agriculture, stockbreeding and fish farming in the spirit of mercilessly wiping out the group of traitors with arms of Songun, hammers and sickles, the speakers noted. While their speeches were made at the rallies their venues shook with angry shouts of slogans "Tear apart Lee Myung Bak in the name of the nation!" "Let Us beat the military warmongers to death" and "Let Us crush the Lee Myung Bak's group of traitors!" The rallies were followed by demonstrations. |
