The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy in a statement on March 1 said that Key Resolve and Foal Eagle targeted against the DPRK clearly showed once again that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities are wreckers of peace as they are keen to ignite a war.

The present-day situation clearly proves the validity of the Songun politics which helped turn the DPRK into a military power with self-defensive war deterrent, the statement noted.

The Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People in a statement on Feb. 28 said that the U.S. hurled not only its forces occupying south Korea but its forces in the U.S. mainland and the Pacific region into the joint military exercises. The statement condemned this as an undisguised challenge to the efforts of the Korean people and the world people for peace.

The U.S. imperialists should not forget the lesson drawn from the bitter defeat they suffered in the Korean War in the 1950s, it stressed.

The Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea and the Peruvian Committee for Solidarity with Peoples in their statements on Feb. 28 and 29 denounced Key Resolve and Foal Eagle.

The joint military exercises are a challenge to the desire of the Korean people for reunification and a total negation of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, the programme for implementing it, the statements said, strongly demanding the U.S., south Korea and Japan, its allies, roll back at once their hostile policy toward the DPRK.
