Stop of North-targeted War Exercises Demanded

Pyongyang, March 6 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations of south Korea including the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and the Solidarity for Progress held a meeting in Seoul on March 3 in denunciation of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean bellicose forces' war drills for aggression.

The speakers said at the meeting that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities kicked off madcap Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills against the north.

The military exercises, pursuant to the war plans including the "OPLAN 5027", are obviously the exercises targeted against the north as they are designed to escalate the confrontation of the differing two social systems, they said.

As long as the war exercises are going on, actions for peace against a war will be steadily conducted, they noted, urging the bellicose forces to stop the saber-rattling at once.
