Kim Jong Un Extends Special Thanks to Mansudae Art Studio

Pyongyang, March 6 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un sent a message of special thanks to the creators, employees and officials of the Mansudae Art Studio for their distinguished exploits in the work for upholding General Secretary Kim Jong Il as in his lifetime for all ages.

In the message he expressed special thanks to them in the name of the Supreme Commander of the KPA.

Officials and creators, with ardent yearning for Kim Jong Il, depicted his smiling portrait at the highest level and made contributions to successfully ensuring the last farewell-bidding ceremony and memorial service.

By erecting the bronze statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il riding on horses as a great masterpiece, they rendered distinguished services to glorifying the great personalities of the peerlessly brilliant commanders of Mt. Paektu and holding them in high esteem generation after generation.

Kim Jong Un in his message highly appreciated the exploits performed by the officials, creators and employees of the Mansudae Art Studio.

A ceremony of conveying the message took place at the studio on Tuesday.

Present at the ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, creators and employees of the studio.
