Chairman Genaro Ledesma Izquieta extended full support to the statement the NDC issued in denunciation of the U.S.-south Korea Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises.

The statement said:

The murderous U.S. government restlessly attempts to ignite a war against the DPRK, bringing the world situation to a serious crisis and threatening its peace.

Having reduced south Korea to their logistic base the U.S. imperialists are zealously instigating the Lee Myung Bak puppet group in a bid to realize their ambition for dominating the world and keep the Korean nation divided indefinitely.

The DPRK has not invaded anyone but has done everything for the unity of the whole nation.

It will never tolerate the moves of the Yankee imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces for aggression.

The People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru vehemently denounces the war drills staged by the U.S. and the south Korean group of traitors, its lackeys, to kill Koreans and other peoples of the world.

General Secretary Cati Campos said:

The saber-rattling now under way across south Korea is a curtain-raiser to an armed invasion against the DPRK.

It is, at the same time, an act of chilling the desire of the Korean people and the people of the neighboring countries aspiring after peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

The statement strongly urged the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to immediately stop the war drills against the Korean people.
