Dermot Hudson, chief of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, praised Kim Jong Il as the people's leader, invincible and iron-willed commander and rare thinker and theoretician.

Kim Jong Il published his work "On the Juche Idea," in particular, thus comprehensively systematizing the revolutionary ideas of President Kim Il Sung and performing great feats in the fields of ideology and theory, he said.

A professor at University of London noted that Kim Jong Il developed and enriched the Juche idea as the only guiding idea in the era of independence. The professor explained the originality of the Juche idea.

Kim Jong Il made a proper clarification of the issue of succeeding to the revolutionary cause, the professor said, adding that supreme leader Kim Jong Un is steadfastly carrying forward the Juche cause and this resulted in a successful solution to the issue of succession to the leadership in the DPRK.

Shawn Pikford, secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said: Kim Jong Il started his Songun leadership by visiting Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army in 1960. He consistently maintained the Songun politics in the efforts to accomplish the socialist cause. The Songun torch kindled on Mt. Paektu is clearly indicating the road to be followed by the world people aspiring after independence.
