He said his country is opposed to any attempt to use the Council as a tool for pressure in a bid to classify countries into good states and bad states, students and examiners.

The existing problems should be settled in a peaceful manner free from any outside pressure and interference and by the concerted efforts of a nation through national dialogue and common consensus, he said.

Russia is strongly opposed to outside forces' armed intervention in support of any one party involved in its internal dispute, he noted, adding that one should not allow under any circumstances the acts of abusing the rights of many people and taking the lives of peaceable inhabitants under the pretext of defending human rights.
