Rodong Sinmun editorially observes this day. The editorial calls upon the women to demonstrate the revolutionary stamina of the Korean women in the ongoing all-out offensive for opening the gate of a thriving nation, single-mindedly united around the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The Korean women are dignified as they have followed the road of a worthwhile revolution, leading the worthiest life under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea and the leader, it says, and goes on:

Their ideological and moral traits have reached a noble level as they have grown up under the great concern of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Among the ranks of pace-setters in the ongoing general advance for opening the gate of a thriving nation are women soldiers standing firm guard over the defence line of the country, women officials doing praiseworthy work for the people, women working hard to occupy the eminence of ultra-modern science, labor innovators displaying patriotism in their devoted work at factories and farms and a lot of women performing exploits in work sites for a great surge in response to the call of the WPK.

Thanks to such large contingent of admirable women revolutionaries socialism of Korean style remains undeterred and rosy future comes earlier.
