Upon hearing the statement of a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army, Kim Chol Ung, a general officer of the Ministry of People's Security, told KCNA:

"The time has come when we should give vent to our pent-up grudge.

We will keep our full readiness and reliably safeguard the socialist system of the DPRK and safety of its people with our resolve to shower fire of revenge on Lee Myung Bak and the military warmongers of south Korea.

Retaliatory strikes without mercy will be dealt to the group of traitors which defamed our leader and social system."

Kim Myong Hwan, manager of the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill, said:

"The group of traitors will find no shelter in this land and sky, and there will be only deaths to such rabid dogs that committed an unprecedented high treason.

No one can break the strength of the single-minded unity of the Koreans standing on the same combat trench with the invincible army of Mt. Paektu."

Rim Sang Ho, a member of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards of the Sunchon Thermal Power Plant, said:

"It is time to put an end to the existence of the Lee group of traitors.

Our people will clearly show this group of beasts what the strikes of our army are like. Our forces will wipe out the traitors from this land to the last man."
