A general officer of the Korean People's Army (KPA), Kim Su Hak, told KCNA:

"The men and officers of KPA are ready to deal a crushing blow to the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors, including Kim Kwan Jin and Jong Sung Jo, in revenge for their thrilling provocation."

Minister of Metal Industry Jon Sung Hun said:

"We have an army, which has grown stronger under the Songun (military-first) politics. There will be no shelter in this planet for those war-thirsty fools running amuck like a puppy knowing no fear of a tiger."

Hyon Sang Ju, chairman of the C.C., General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, said:

"Traitor Lee Myung Bak should not make a conclusion that our resentment will calm down on its own accord."

General Director of the Associated Fruit Group Kim Chol Ho said:

"The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors is a pack of mad dogs that can never live under this sky. Once an order for southward advance is given, our employees will turn out in a sacred war with arms in hands."
