Cuba Backs Denuclearization and Peaceful Reunification of Korean Peninsula

| Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The Cuban ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expressed support for the denuclearization and peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula at a meeting of the Board of Governors of the IAEA in Vienna. He noted in his speech that Cuba supports the denuclearization of the peninsula and welcomes any measure for substantial progress. He added Cuba is confident that the nuclear issue of the peninsula can be settled through peaceful diplomacy and dialogue. Cuba reaffirms its support for the lasting peace on the peninsula and the peaceful reunification of Korea free from foreign interference. |
