UNCTAD Condemns U.S. Blockade against Cuba

| Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The blockade continued for over 50 years by the United States against Cuba was condemned at a meeting in preparation for the XIII Ministerial Meeting of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The counselor of the Cuban mission to the International Organizations in Geneva, Carlos Fidel Martin, explained the negative consequences of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by Washington. Martin also demanded that the documents for the UNCTAD meeting, to be held in Doha from 21 to 26 April, maintain two paragraphs that denounce the application of unilateral coercive measures. |
