The statement said that trade unions of KBS, MBC and Yonhap TV News went on a joint strike protesting against the authorities' moves to control media.

It said that those who were nominated to the top posts of media organizations by Lee Myung Bak speak for the power and lead flashy lifestyles by deceiving people and abusing their authority.

These days, Park Geun Hye is dreaming revival of "Yusin" on the foundation of dictatorship laid by Lee Myung Bak, it said, adding:

The departed spirit of dictator should never be allowed to control media in the 21st century.

The statement denounced the present "government" for gagging people by grasping media, stressing the need to punish Lee Myung Bak and the ruling party.

All the people should turn out in the struggle to end the Lee "government" as early as possible in support of the strike of the trade unions and bring down the dictatorship with the writing brush of justice, it added.
