Koreans' Resentment Is Natural: Japanese Organizations

Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- Friendship and solidarity organizations of Japan on March 6 issued statements denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for slandering and insulting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, the U.S. and south Korea for staging the joint military exercises and the Japanese authorities for cracking down on organizations under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon).

The Kyoto Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea said that it was very natural for the DPRK to issue a warning with towering resentment against the south Korean authorities who hurt the dignity of its supreme leadership at a time when the military tension was running high due to the U.S.-south Korea large-scale joint military exercises.

It demanded the south Korean authorities stop at once the provocative joint military exercises with the U.S. and formally apologize to the DPRK.

The Nagano Prefectural People's Council for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea noted that the south Korean authorities' acts of hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK clearly shows who is the wrecker of the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

It demanded the south Korean authorities stop at once the said acts.

The Tokushima Prefectural Citizens' Forum for Japan-Korea Friendship said that the Japanese government should stop the hostile acts against the DPRK, opt for dialogue and negotiations with sincerity and work hard to open diplomatic relations between the two countries.
