Severe Storms Hit Italy's Sicily Island

| Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- A severe storms have hit Italy's Sicily Island, disrupting local transport and damaging unharvested crops, the ANSA news agency reported on Thursday. The international airport stayed closed on Wednesday night and railways and highways on the island were also disrupted by landslides. Some 40 people were forced to be evacuated from their homes. A hail storm also severely damaged fruits and vegetables before they were harvested. |
