Keeping the promise made with service personnel on Cho Islet after visiting them despite rough sea, the islet associated with the revolutionary legend of general secretary Kim Jong Il, Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un sent the State Merited Chorus to the post on the islet and the unit defending the forefront on the west coast.

Among the audience were service personnel of the Defence Unit and the Unit and their families.

Put on the stage were male choruses "Song of the Korean People's Army" and "Our General Is the Best", male duet and male chorus "Soldiers Live near the General" and other colorful numbers.

The performers sang high praises of the undying feats of Kim Jong Il who trained the KPA into an invincible revolutionary army to defend socialism of Juche and provided a sure military guarantee for the prosperity of the country and the nation.

Male chorus "Yearning Is Boundless", male solo and male chorus "Song of Comradeship" and male chorus "The General Is Always Alive as the Sun" mesmerized the audience. They were moved to tears as the songs represented the ceaseless forced marches of guerrilla style made by Kim Jong Il all his life in jumper and the long Songun journeys made by him with total dedication rain or snow.

Choruses "For My Only Motherland" and "Leader, Just Give Us Your Order" resounded like shouts reflecting the faith of the service personnel defending the Songun brilliant commander standing on the forefront of revolution under the ever-victorious banner.

Male choruses "Footsteps" and "We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un with Our Lives" represented the death-defying resolution of the revolutionary army to carry forward and accomplish the Songun revolutionary cause which was pioneered on Mt. Paektu and accomplish the historic cause of national reunification without fail, keeping pace with the footsteps of Kim Jong Un.
