Rodong Sinmun DPRK's Sacred War of Retaliation Is Patriotic One

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Korean style sacred war is a righteous one to punish all the anti-reunification elements who have curbed reconciliation and unity of the nation and plunged the north-south relations into deadlock. It is also a patriotic one to achieve the historic victory in the effort for the national reunification. Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in a bylined article. The anti-reunification forces have harmed national reconciliation and unity, whetted a sword for a war against the north and made the north-south ties fester. If they are left intact, the Koreans will only face disaster, let alone reunify the country, the article says, and goes on: The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors dampened the aspiration of the fellow compatriots for reunification through unprecedented confrontation policy toward the DPRK and brought increasing danger of a nuclear war to the Korean Peninsula in collusion with foreign forces. The group deserves severe judgment of the history for this crime alone. The puppet military gangsters' gravest provocation against the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK is a product of the plot hatched by the group of traitors to stir up the atmosphere of confrontation between the north and the south and tide over the serious ruling crisis. Being driven into a tight corner inside and outside, the Lee group has kicked up frantic confrontation racket against the fellow compatriots to prolong its remaining days, clean indifferent to the destiny of the nation. No one knows what kind of adventure the group will risk more. All the Koreans in the north and the south and overseas suffer from the confrontation moves of the Lee group. All the fellow countrymen should turn out to smash without mercy the traitors who challenge the dignity of the supreme leadership of the nation and bring the danger of nuclear war, not content with selling the interests of the south Korean people through flunkeyism and breaking the north-south ties through confrontation with the compatriots. |
