Tajikistan Opposes Sanctions on Iran

| Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The Tajik foreign minister in a press conference on March 8 expressed the stand of the Tajik government opposing the West's sanctions on Iran. All the pressure on Iran including economic sanctions is proving ineffective, he said, adding the sanctions are not a solution to the issue. Tajikistan maintains the stand that the nuclear issue of Iran should be settled politically and diplomatically, he stressed. |
