S. Korean Students Demand In-effectuation of FTA

| Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- Youth and students organizations in south Korea including the Youth Solidarity and the Federation of University Students in the 21st Century held a press conference in Seoul on March 12 to urge the "government" to render the humiliating "Free Trade Agreement" with the U.S. ineffective. The speakers said that the effectuation of the FTA would bring more serious economic crisis and deteriorate the people's living. The "government" is set to bring greater pain to young people who suffer from job, salary and housing problems, they deplored, adding: The FTA is an anti-youth agreement as it darkens the future of youths. They called on youth to turn out in unity for the repeal of the agreement. |
