Drive for Establishing Cultured Ways Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- A spring drive for establishing cultured ways in work and life is going on in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The people's committees and hygienic and anti-epidemic agencies throughout the country encourage all people to turn out in the drive with a sense of patriotism.

Citizens are now facelifting dwelling houses and public and industrial buildings and sprucing up towns, villages, roads and their surroundings.

In particular, a nationwide tree-planting campaign is making headway.

Institutions and industrial establishments are making efforts to recondition their sanitary facilities and remove the source of causing diseases.

Residential quarters rouse all inhabitants to the campaign to clean up their houses.

The government has taken effective steps to increase the production of various building materials needed for establishing cultured ways in work and life.

Meanwhile, achievements made by some units in the campaign are popularized throughout the country.

March and April are clean-up months in the DPRK.
