Present at the party on invitation were the Unhasu Orchestra headed by Kwon Hyok Bong, advisor to the Korean Traditional Music Institute, the chief and staff members of the DPRK mission in France, Jong Myong Hun, music director of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra of France, and those concerned of the joint performance.

Present there were those concerned of the French Ministry of Culture and the Radio Broadcasting of France including the minister of Culture and the general director of the Radio Broadcasting of France.

The French minister of Culture in his address extended thanks to the DPRK government for having sent the Unhasu Orchestra composed of talented and promising players.

The minister hoped that the joint performance will mark an occasion in boosting the cultural exchange between the two countries.

The joint performance helped have a better understanding of the Korean musical art of world standard, the minister said.

Kwon Hyok Bong in his reply expressed thanks to the French government for its efforts for successful joint performance.

He referred to the long-standing cultural exchange between the DPRK and France.

The performance laid a firm foundation for boosting the cultural exchange between the two countries, he said.
