Displayed in the venue were works of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and books on Songun Korea.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism and member of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, made a report which was followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Il Sung wisely led the effort of the Korean people and the world progressives for socialist construction, Korea's reunification and global independence, upholding the banner of the Juche idea.

He is the benevolent father of the people who regarded believing in the people as in Heaven as motto of his life and devoted his all to the people's happiness, while sharing joy and sorrow with them, they said.

They also said that Kim Jong Il, who glorified the Juche idea, Songun idea as the great guiding idea of the era of independence, worked energetically till the last moments of his life to realize the President's desire of building a powerful and prosperous country. He made a great contribution to human cause of independence, they added.

They pledged to more actively study and disseminate the Juche idea, Songun idea with the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung as an occasion.
