Rodong Sinmun Calls for Eliminating S. Korean Conservative Ruling Forces

Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean conservative ruling forces are a stumbling block in carving out the independent destiny of the Korean nation, says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in a bylined article. It goes on: The conservative group has seriously infringed upon the destiny and interests of the nation, giving priority to foreign forces and kowtowing to them. The Lee Myung Bak regime's policy of dependence on foreign forces is vividly illustrated by the fact that they openly declared that they would deal with the north-south relations within the framework of the tightened "alliance" with foreign forces. All Koreans keenly felt over the last four years that the Lee group is a horde of traitors with whom they cannot live under the same sky and it is the only way out for the Korean nation to wipe them out as early as possible. The Koreans are sure to emerge victorious in the struggle for national reunification as long as there are the Three Charters for National Reunification and the north-south joint declaration, the landmarks of independent reunification, peace and prosperity, and the pro-reunification patriotic driving force which has carried forward the tradition of national unity. The Koreans in the north, the south and abroad should pave the way for carving out the independent destiny full of confidence, united close in the spirit of "By the Korean nation itself" with the high pride and honor of being the members of Kim Il Sung's nation. |
