In her speech at the meeting of women in Lima on March 13 marking the March 8 International Women's Day she said:

Kim Jong Suk performed distinguished feats in the anti-Japanese armed struggle for the liberation of Korea led by President Kim Il Sung and the building of new Korea after the liberation.

Kim Jong Suk was an anti-Japanese war hero and a great pioneer of the Korean women's movement.

She was a great paragon of the women of Peru and the world progressive women struggling for social justice and equality.

Teresa Otiniano underlined the need to boost the friendship and solidarity between the Peruvian and Korean women.
