52 years have passed since the Syngman Rhee dictatorial forces staged the March 15 election through all kinds of frauds and swindles, bribery and high-handed actions, lashing the people into fury, the statement said.

The strong public resistance against the fraudulent election led to the April 19 uprising, finally ousting the dictator, it noted, and deplored:

But those worshipping dictator Syngman Rhee are in power in south Korea at present.

The present conservative group is working hard to repeat the March 15 fraudulent election in a bid to stay in power, it said, adding they should never allow this.

The hearts of the people are burning with the will to eliminate the dictatorship at a time when the remnants of the "Yusin" dictatorship are raising their heads, it stressed.
