Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- "Minjok Sibo", a newspaper of Koreans in Japan, on March 15 in an article called for punishing the south Korean group of traitors. The article said "Saenuri" Party, the south Korean ruling party, which pursues an anti-DPRK hostile policy should be punished without fail and a solid foundation for peace and reunification should be laid. Park Geun-hye, chairwoman of the Emergency Measure Committee of the "Saenuri" Party, is busy praising her father Park Chung-hee's "Yusin" dictatorship to the sky and keen to revive it, the article said, adding that it should never be allowed. It accused her of supporting the present "government" in its hostile policy towards fellow countrymen though it has pushed the north-south relations to the brink of war and stubbornly opposed the abolition of the "Security Law." It is impossible to radically repair the inner-Korean relations now at the worst phase as long as Park, typical conservative politician pursuing north-south confrontation, is allowed to stay in the political arena, it observed, and went on: The "Saenuri" Party was grown from the roots of Park Chung-hee's "Republican Party", Chun Doo Hwan's "Democratic Justice Party", Roh Tae Woo's "Democratic Liberal Party" and Lee Myung Bak's "Grand National Party." It called on the people to mete out a stern judgment to the "Saenuri" Party in the April parliamentary election as it has pursued an unpopular, anti-reunification and undemocratic policy as a lackey under the dictatorial rule. |
