The bulletin carried articles titled "Anti-Japanese war" and "Triumphant return home" under the bannerline caption "Centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung" illustrated with his smiling portrait.

The bulletin in its articles praised Kim Il Sung for having achieved the historic cause of founding the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK, developed the revolutionary armed forces into regular ones and carried out various democratic reforms after the liberation of the country, brought the Korean people joy of a new life and happiness.

It also referred to the facts that the President led the great Fatherland Liberation War to a shining victory and wisely led the postwar rehabilitation and construction and socialist construction, turning the DPRK into a power independent in politics, self-supporting in national economy and self-reliant in national defence.
