The Seoul High Court staged a trial of Chairman Ri Kyu Jae and former Secretary General Choe Un A of the headquarters on the same day, the statement said, and went on:

The security authorities are cracking down upon the legitimate pro-reunification movement of the headquarters on charges of violation of the "Security Law".

The statement strongly condemned the trial aimed at punishing members of the headquarters on false charges.

Pomminryon is a legitimate organization conducting the movement for independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity under the uplifted banner of the June 15 joint declaration, the statement said, adding:

The organization will carry on their actions against the group of traitors to the last for the dignity and interests of the nation and conduct a dynamic struggle for the repeal of the fascist law and an end to dictatorship.
