The Lee group of traitors hell-bent on escalating confrontation with the compatriots has opposed the north-south declarations and deliberately pursued the anachronistic confrontation policy, backed by outside forces.

The Korean nation, aspiring after the national unity and reunification, has devoted all its efforts to accomplishing the independent reunification, peace and prosperity under the uplifted banner of June 15 Joint Declaration and October 4 Declaration. Nevertheless, a handful of traitors led by Lee have harshly quenched the sincere desire of the nation for reunification.

The acute tension is now prevailing on the Korean Peninsula due to the unpardonable acts of the Lee group against the nation and its reunification.

The traitors can never hide their true colors as anti-reunification elements as they have chilled the atmosphere of dialogue and peace and worked hard to provoke a war against the DPRK, pursuant to their anachronistic confrontation policy.

They are now going reckless undermining the June 15 era of reunification. It would be impossible to prevent a nuclear war from breaking out on this land, much less achieving unity and reunification of the nation unless the criminal act of the Lee group is curbed. It is quite natural that the people of various circles in south Korea are hardening their resolve to resolutely punish the Lee group in the forthcoming "National Assembly" election as it blocked their movement for national reunification and plunged the north-south relations into complete deadlock.
