The Korean people are struggling to reliably safeguard the country and build a thriving socialist nation and achieve independent and peaceful reunification.

It is the ulterior intention of the Lee Myung Bak regime to hamstring their efforts.

The Communist Party of Soviet Union and the International Social Federation "For the Union and Union's Communist Party" vehemently condemn the moves of the U.S. warmongers to provoke a war and the Lee Myung Bak puppet forces' undisguised acts of treachery. We support all the measures taken by the DPRK to protect the dignity of its supreme leadership and voice solidarity with it.

On the same day 9 political parties and organizations including the People's Socialist Party, the Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification of Mexico made public a joint statement expressing support and solidarity with all the service personnel and people of the DPRK in their firm stand.

The statement called upon the political parties, governments and organizations of all countries in the world to send support and encouragement to the party, army and people of the DPRK.
