Ahmadinejad Reiterates Pressure Won't Resolve Nuclear Issue

| Teheran, March 23 (KCNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in an exclusive interview with German public broadcaster ZDF on Monday strongly censured the U.S. and the West's pressure on his country. The nuclear issue can't be resolved by sanctions and pressure, reiterated Iran's chief executive. Ahmadinejad made clear that while his country was not looking for a war with any country, it was ready to defend itself from any military aggression. He urged the UN nuclear body to treat Iran fairly within the framework of its laws and regulations and respect its nuclear rights. |
