The demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il is an irrevocable loss to not only the Korean people but to progressive mankind, the chairman said, and went on:

Kim Jong Il was the outstanding thinker and theoretician and distinguished leader who made great contributions to the advance of the socialist cause and global independence by building the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power and the country centered on the popular masses with his extraordinary ideas and theories and energetic leadership.

The joint seminar held by political parties and organizations of the Nordic Region on the occasion of the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung offered an important occasion in supporting and encouraging the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country and build a thriving socialist nation.

The Communist Party in Sweden will in the future, too, extend solidarity to the WPK in its just cause of building a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
