Rodong Sinmun says that the past 100 days were a period when all people have successfully carried out the cause of immortalizing the leader. They are characterized by a great change in which a gigantic advance has been pushed ahead to implement the behests of Kim Jong Il in all fields of the revolution and construction, the paper notes, and goes on:

During this period, the unbreakable single-minded unity of the DPRK, the greatest heritage of Kim Jong Il, has reached a more sublime level and the history of struggle in those days serves a precious wherewithal for its army and people to glorify their worthwhile life and weather all hardships of the revolution.

They are steadfastly advancing along the road of Juche revolution, rallied close around the dear respected Kim Jong Un, though they suffered a great loss to the nation.

Standing firm is the center of leadership of the Korean revolution, center of unity and the society has achieved the best political stability.

No force on earth can deter all the service personnel and people of the DPRK from making a grand advance, single-mindedly united around the brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu, shoulder to shoulder with him, singing the song "We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un with Our Lives."

His leadership means the lifeline of the cause of Juche revolution and his care means that of a great father to whom the army and people can entrust their destiny and future.

It is necessary to glorify the DPRK which attained a full-fledged position of a power in the era of Kim Jong Il as a more thriving socialist nation of Juche in the era of Kim Jong Un. This is a sacred mission assigned to the present generation.
