Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea issued bulletin No. 89 in the run-up to the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The bulletin edited an article titled "100 years of Kim Il Sung's Korea" with the portrait of a smiling President. 100 years since the birth of Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea, marked the great history to be specially recorded in the five thousand years long history of the Korean nation, it said. The President liberated Korea, successfully defended the dignity and sovereignty of the nation from the imperialists' aggression and led the DPRK to demonstrate its might as a socialist fortress which no formidable enemy dares provoke, it noted, and went on: Socialist Korea has become the most popular country in which the universal free medical service and the universal compulsory 11-year educational system have been enforced. In the DPRK the state looks after people's living -- food, clothing and housing -- in a responsible manner. The DPRK has tremendous economic potentials. It manufactured 10 000-ton press and a large oxygen plant and built the West Sea Barrage stretching in the rough sea in a matter of just five years. The Korean people will fling open the gate to prosperity before long. The new 100 year history of Kim Il Sung's Korea will shine as the annals of greater victory and glory. |
